Why Practice Yoga

To reconnect!

Yoga is a practice for the mind, body and soul. The wisdom of yoga has been practiced for thousands of years. The primary goal of yoga is to transcend the mind and find the place of pure love. Doesn’t that sound wonderful to not be so controlled by our thoughts and be sitting in a place of pure love? Yoga teaches us tools to help keep our body strong and limber through asana, pranayama to affect our physiology and biochemistry and meditation to connect to our true nature.

Practicing yoga daily can be as simple as closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to your breath. It can also be a practice for daily rituals or habit development that can lead to optimal health. Or you can have a more rigorous practice to develop a strong physical body to help with injury prevention and healthy aging.
