Sue Edgley on her Journey with Osteoporosis

Today Debi talks to Sue Edgley, a Therapist & Healer, who worked at the National Health Services in the UK for 12 years about her journey with osteoporosis, her experience with the echolight scan and bone loss.

I’m so thrilled to announce our first podcast episode of “Her”Story!

It’s a segment of the Stronger Bones Lifestyle Podcast where I speak with everyday women about their journey from diagnosis, through their trials and tribulations, to where they are now.

And how they’ve taken control of their bone health, lives, and future.

This week, our guest is Dr. Sue Edgley who was recently diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. Sue, a Therapist & Healer, who worked at the National Health Services in the UK for 12 years discusses her journey with osteoporosis, her experience with the echolight scan and bone loss.

She felt like the rug was totally swept from under her feet with that news.

Despite being a former MD, she knew there had to be more out there for her than taking a pill to fix herself.

(That’s actually one of the reasons she left conventional medicine — she hated prescribing pills.)

Here are just a few of the topics we cover in this episode:

  • The truth about medication and why (even doctors!) know there are options
  • The hidden dangers of symptom management and why it’s time for a new approach
  • How to optimize your gut for maximum nutrient absorption
  • Why valuable lab tests uncover the root causes of your health issues
  • How to say goodbye to quick evacuation, bloating, and other gut issues
  • When a second opinion can literally change your life

"What I’d like everybody to realize is that often it doesn’t mean you are going to break because the bones can be strong even though they are thinner than when you were thirty." [40:43]
