What to expect from working with me in Yoga Therapy

The intention of a Yoga Therapy session is to help uncover physical, mental, emotional or energetic blocks in your life that keep you from living at your full potential. After an appropriate intake and assessment I will focus on your specific symptoms that trouble you and identify methods to help you manage those symptoms. Some areas I can help you with are: pain management, fatigue, sleep issues, stress reduction or management, strength, balance and overall increase in energy and confidence.

I will educate you in pearls of wisdom and tools that yoga has to empower you to take an active role in your healing journey. I will teach you asana (yoga poses), breathing exercises, meditation and guided imagery to improve mental and physical health. The holistic focus of yoga therapy encourages the integration of mind, body and spirit to help bring you back to wholeness and I will be your guide on that journey.

I recommend a minimum of 3 sessions to evaluate you then create a practice for you to incorporate into your daily life to help you heal. In each session we can modify if needed and add on when you are ready.
