This workshop will focus on yoga for those with osteoporosis or osteopenia using a specific yoga practice proven to strengthen normal and weakened bones. We will focus on the underlying anatomy, physiology, and processes by which yoga works and learn how to do the 12 postures that have been demonstrated to raise spine bone mineral density 8.6%, and hip 5.6% . We will also focus on how to improve your balance, posture and agility giving you the confidence, power and strength to age healthy and happily.
This workshop is open to all fitness levels and ages – no prior Yoga experience is necessary. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and bring a friend to share the benefits you will learn.
Debi Robinson: Yoga Teacher E-RYT® 500, YTRx-800C Yoga Therapist and Health Coach
Debi combines her knowledge as a yoga therapist, health coach, and chef into all her teachings. In her workshops, she shares the wisdom gained during years of travel through Bali and India.
She blends these lessons into her daily routines creating a path to aging gracefully.
